Alberto Piccini est un Artiste Italien de Seravezza, en Toscane. Son œuvre comprend principalement des sculptures en bronze et en marbre, qui font appel simultanément à une brusque modernité, et à une sensibilité artistique intemporelle et classique.  Il vit et travaille en Italie, partageant son temps entre Milan, Pietrasanta et Carrera. Diplômé de l’Accademia d’Arte de Florence, il participe à plusieurs foires et expos individuelles et collectives à travers l’Europe, les Etats-Unis et l’Asie. Piccini forge ses sculptures dans son propre atelier à Pietrasanta, afin de maintenir un contact continu avec elles le long du processus créatif. Il y consacre tout son temps et son attention, et par conséquent le résultat est une ineffable impression d’intimité. On retrouve dans ses œuvres une plénitude, et une qualité tactile, qui font d’elles de véritables expressions de la question physique, inhérente dans le domaine de la sculpture, et donc qui travaille en conjonction avec la bataille éternelle avec  notre perception de la réalité. Ses sculptures sont lyriques, et donc très versatiles dans le monde de l’art contemporain, puisque elles sont assez abordables pour être commercialement sollicitées, mais en même temps elles comportent les marques indéniables de la maîtrise technique et de la sensibilité artistique, qui font d’elles de véritables œuvres d’art.

Alberto Piccini is an Italian artist from Seravezza in Tuscany. His work primarily comprises of bronze and marble sculptures, which have simultaneously an appeal of bold modernity and timeless, classic lyricism. He has lived in various places throughout Italy, spending most of his time between Milan, Pietrasanta and Carrera. He studied sculpture at the Accademia d’Arte in Florence and has held solo and collective exhibitions throughout Europe and also in the Unites States and East Asia. Piccini casts his sculptures in his own foundry in Pietrasanta, and maintains constant contact with them throughout the process of creation. He consecrates all of his time and attention to them, nurtures them, and consequently, the result of this process is an ineffable impression of intimacy. His works have a fullness and a tactile quality to them, thus embodying to a very high degree the true physicality of this medium, which works in conjunction with the ever-present push and pull that art has with physical reality. His sculptures are classically expressive, and therefore very versatile in the field of contemporary art, seeing as they are amenable enough to be commercially desirable, but also have the undeniable marks of artistry and technical mastery, which make them true works of art.
