FR Roberto Fantini est né à Rome, Italie en 1960. Il vit et travaille à Rome, Italie. Le tournant et l’épanouissement de l’artiste se réalisent grâce à ses fréquents voyage en Asie, et au Tibet en particulier, à la découverte et à la redécouverte des origines de l’humanité et de sa spiritualité. La reconnaissance et l’identification avec les matériaux, les couleurs, les atmosphères des lieux les plus proches des origines de l’Histoire de l’homme ont rapproché Roberto Fantini de ces réalités et ont caractérisé sa recherche des témoignages visuels. Un travail sur l’esprit du passé et la matière du présent.
EN Born in Rome, Italy in 1960; lives and works there. He developed and matured professionally during his frequent trips to Asia, and it was especially in Tibet that he was inspired to embark on a personal journey of discovery and rediscovery of the origins and spiritual significance of mankind - an anthropological quest as much as an artistic one, though these do not differ so greatly, on second thought. The familiarity and identification with the materials, colours, and atmospheres of the cradle of the hisotry of men characterize his aesthetic. Fantini works both on the spirit of the past and on the material of the present. |
